MOVING AWAY FROM THE NORM.

I was just thinking to myself the other day about how people like using cliché responses. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not perfect either but there are some of them I just don’t seem to understand. Why not say something different from the norm…

Have you ever had a conversation with someone and when you ask the person a question you already know what the “possible reply” is going to be… hence here are a few of them that I thought I should share

1. When someone gets asked concerning a relationship“what is one thing you can’t stand the most in a relationship?”. I’m pretty sure you already know the answer to this one, if not possibly thinking about it now.

Who exactly wants to be cheated on or lied to in a relationship?…Not me. But that’s almost always the first response before others are incorporated.

2. Still talking about relationships, have your “significant other” ever asked you…”babe(or whatever it is you are being called) ,what exactly do see in me/what do you like about me?”

and here it goes…in no particular order, you are nice, sweet, caring and understanding .Keep in mind I didn’t add physical appearances here because like they say” beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”. Then other compliments follow. Yet you keep wondering why couples are getting divorced…just saying..

3. JUST BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO EAT AUTOMATICALLY MEANS “I’m watching my weight”. What does that even mean?

4. Last time I checked, being a good cook isn’t written on the forehead so why do some people get surprised when a “certain” type of person says they can cook and the next response you get 99 percent of the time( in my case)…” you don’t look like someone who can cook”. This might not apply for everyone because maybe, just maybe you look like a typical  world-renowned chef.

At this point I ran out of what to talk about but 5 seems like a decent number so I just had to add something.

5.Dont assume I don’t know my native language just because i speak english all the time.

Hope you enjoy xoxo
